Xavier leads in the development of EV charging networks in the Caribbean. He has consulted for governments, utilities, and corporate clients in their pursuits to understand and convert their fleets to electric vehicles. A proud native of Jamaica, Mr. Gordon is a Mechanical Engineer by training.
Carey leads finance and governance and oversees investor and supplier relations, contracts, and business development activities. Mr. Escoffery holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He has completed exempt market certifications from the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC).
Zachary leads marketing and promotions strategy and government relationships across the Caribbean. He is a well-respected corporate figure, power broker and marketing guru. He has been a special advisor to Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism and sits on the Boards of Caribbean Airlines and JAMPRO (Jamaica’s Trade & Investment institution). He has served on several other Boards, including the Port Authority of Jamaica, the Urban Development Corporation, Jamaica Antidoping Commission, and has deputy chaired the Sports and Entertainment Network under the Ministry of Tourism.
John Farmer has developed multiple successful enterprises in The Bahamas and brings a wealth of auto sales experience to the Board. He is amongst the first auto distributors to sell Battery Electric Vehicles in the Caribbean Marketplace. In 2009 he established Easy Car Sales Ltd. Initially a vendor of used cars imported from Japan, Easy Car has since leveraged its outstanding reputation for customer service to develop into the first and only new car dealership for electric vehicles in the Bahamas.
Since its formation in April 2000, the company has strived to be a premier renewable energy company. It owns and operates the largest wind farm in Jamaica, with a total capacity of 62.7 MW. Wigton Windfarm Limited has an excellent track record of developing and implementing projects efficiently. Since listing on the Jamaica Stock Exchange in May 2019, the company has broadened its focus to diversify and offer project management and implementation of various energy initiatives.
Asafa Powell is an acclaimed sprinter, automobile expert, business man and media personality. Powell has broken the 10- second barrier 97 times, more than anyone else in the history of the 100 meters. Over his sprinting career, he competed at four Olympic Games, accumulated seven world medals and eight national titles. Currently he is focused on building his business acumen and brand power through social media, alongside being an ambassador for PUMA.
Juan is passionate about environmental preservation. Stemming from this, he founded a business focusing on managing recycling projects for several leading companies within the Jamaican private sector, with visions of penetrating the renewable energy sector in the near future. He is trained in Business Management with consulting experience for investment and technology companies.
