Our Story

Flash Motors was founded by CEO Xavier Gordon and CFO Carey Escoffery, combining technical expertise with disciplined financial oversight.
From inception, Flash Motors was built around a platform thesis: electrification in small island markets requires integrated infrastructure, policy alignment, engineering rigor, and governance discipline.

We partner with globally recognized automotive and energy manufacturers to deploy proven vehicle and charging technologies engineered for tropical performance and regional grid conditions. Every system introduced undergoes structured technical evaluation and deployment modeling to ensure reliability, safety, and long-term operational viability.

Flash Motors operates at the intersection of vehicle distribution, fleet electrification, charging network infrastructure, and digital charge management — integrating these layers into a unified regional mobility platform. We actively engage with utilities, governments, and industry bodies to support policy development, infrastructure scaling, and market readiness across the Caribbean.

Carey Escoffery is a finance, governance and business development professional, overseeing investor and supplier relations, contracts and business development activities.
Mr. Escoffery brings over 10 years of experience in renewable energy and electric transportation.
He is responsible for developing Public Private Partnership contracts, advising private equity arrangements and leading fundraising activities for renewable energy and electric transportation projects across the Caribbean and Canada.
Mr. Escoffery holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
He has completed exempt market certifications from the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC).

Mr. Phillip Oliver is an influential Business Professional who has over 10 years of experience in Sales and Business Operations. Within the Automotive Industry he has become well versed in EV knowledge across several global brands, and has in-depth knowledge of a diverse portfolio of Electric Vehicles including E-bicycles and scooters, E-Bikes, E-Cars, Trucks, and Pickups and E-Warehouse equipment. He has been instrumental in educating & facilitating the transition of both public and private sector entities to Electric Vehicles.
Oliver is certified in Customer Centric Skills, Branding and Sales. His EV Sales success is supported by a vast amount of knowledge and experience in Renewable Energy and Electric Transportation.

Administrative & Facilities Manager

Samantha Malcolm is an experienced business professional, entrepreneur, and operations specialist with over 16 years of experience in insurance claims and customer experience management. She began her academic journey studying Guidance Counselling at Mico University College and later pursued Psychology at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean.
She transitioned into the insurance brokerage sector, where she earned a Diploma as an Insurance Technician and claims certification from the College of Insurance and Professional Studies. Over more than a decade, she has negotiated complex general insurance claims, including motor vehicle, marine, public liability, employer’s liability, and pecuniary claims.
Samantha is a member of the Jamaica Customer Service Association (JACSA) and holds a Certificate in Supervisory Management from the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean.
She built a reputation for meticulous thinking, strong negotiation skills, and a customer experience-centered approach, which led her to found a Virtual Administrative Services company, where she serves as Managing Director, supporting senior managers, executives, and entrepreneurs.

Service and Parts Manager

David Dillon serves as the Service and Parts Manager at Flash Motors, where he oversees service operations and parts management to support efficient vehicle maintenance and reliable customer service.
Since joining the company in January 2025, he has been responsible for coordinating service activities and ensuring the availability of parts to maintain smooth operational performance. Dillon has 10 years of professional experience with a strong background in automotive systems, industrial electronics, and electrical maintenance, with prior experience at GCG Ground Services (Jamaica) Limited, Ellesco Jamaica, and Toyota Jamaica Limited.
He holds certifications from HEART NTA in Motor Vehicle Repairs and Industrial Electronics, and a diploma from the Jamaican-German Automotive School (JAGAS). In 2025 he received Farizon Auto International After Sales training in Changsha, China, and was certified as an L1/L2 Technician. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Systems at Caribbean Maritime University.

Janelle Brown is a marketing and corporate communications professional with over 18 years of experience. She holds an MBA in Marketing from the Mona School of Business & Management and is a graduate of the Caribbean School of Architecture, with a background in architectural design and project management.
She has held C-level roles in two listed companies, including a dual role as Export Manager, and has worked across leading agencies supporting brands in food manufacturing, retail, luxury, finance, telecoms, utilities, sales and distribution, and government. Her advertising work includes three international ADDY Award-winning campaigns.
She also has extensive experience in film production and large-scale event management. In corporate communications, she has written many speeches and over 300 published articles featured in outlets such as The Gleaner, The Jamaica Observer, and Forbes Magazine, and has contributed to Impact Wealth Magazine.
She is also the author of two children’s books.

Gary has over thirty (30) years’ experience in the telecommunications and electricity industries in the region.
In addition to his business experience, he has a multi-disciplinary background in Engineering, Finance, Technology, Innovation, Business Transformation, Process Re-Engineering, Governance and People Management.
Prior to joining Wigton Energy, Gary served as Chief Operating Officer at the Jamaica Public Service Company Limited where he led enterprise-wide strategic planning and executed digital transformation projects and other business innovations.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Business Administration and has completed global leadership development programmes with INSEAD in France, United Kingdom, China, Spain and USA.

Jheanell Lawrence brings over 15 years of experience in financial services and corporate governance to her role as General Manager of AspireSec Limited, a licensed Corporate Services Provider. She leads the delivery of corporate secretarial services, regulatory compliance, beneficial ownership filings, and governance advisory, supporting companies across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.
She holds a BSc in Economics from the University of the West Indies, Mona, along with specialized training in financial services management and loan operations. Her background includes reorganizing financial institutions, strengthening governance frameworks, reducing delinquency portfolios, and developing strategic plans in collaboration with Boards.
Jheanell serves as a Committee Member of the Risk Committee for the National Irrigation Commission and as Corporate Secretary and Committee of Management Member for Richmond Homeowners’ Association Limited.
With strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and a strategic mindset, she continues to position AspireSec as a trusted partner in corporate compliance and governance excellence.
